The Upside Down Triangle in The Circle

A picture is worth a thousand words. It’s true.

Why am I using an Upside Down Triangle in A Circle for the symbol of the Anonymous Alcoholics? Because that’s what we said we were doing in the service manual, and yet we used a right-side up triangle as the symbol for AA. Sadly, our ignorance of the power of symbolism, I believe, is part of what has brought our society to failure. We stare at that right-side-up triangle and try to make the groups be in charge, and the service structure serve the groups – but it just fails over and over.

The service structure of AA is an upside down triangle. You can view this in the AA Service Manual – at least in the ones prior to 2017 when they voted that it’s ok to change anything they want in the service manual.

Our subconscious mind is that 85% unused portion and it makes happen whatever we symbolically tell it to do- so it’s our own fault for acting in ignorance with our logo.

I’m pretty sure our buddy John D. Rockefeller, Jr had his hand in making that happen. This could easily be considered highly controversial, so I am going to put the article I am referencing on my References Page if you want to look into John D. Rockefeller and his true motives. I don’t believe he wanted our movement to succeed ultimately – he was just using us to suppress the Gold Cure for alcoholism and he made sure that we would fail by encouraging Bill W. to develop a democratic service structure which is a violation of Natural Law and is doomed to failure.

It works as far as the Area Assembly, but it falls apart at the Delegate Level, and always will, because you cannot re-present another person or an Area of people especially not without using The Traditions.

John D. Rockefeller knew we would ultimately fail and that’s what he wanted. And I am sure he is the one that set in motion the use of the right side up triangle…

Later in 1996, we had the controversy with the coin companies and GSO which was part of the beginning of the end of GSO and the Conference using the Traditions… but you can read about that on silkworth.net
