On this page I attempt to introduce readers to the truth about why delegating authority above the level of GSR won’t work and is a violation of Spiritual Law.
Concept 6:
The Conference recognizes that the chief initiative and active responsibility in most world service matters should be exercised by the trustee members of the Conference acting as the General Service Board.
Here Delegates of the Conference are giving authority to act over to the Trustees. This is because the Trustees meet throughout the year and the Conference only meets once a year for a week. If the Trustees use the traditions they could be effective, but they don’t anymore and neither do the delegates. The other problem is the non-rotating staff members are a stagnant cesspool of agenda and they really are the ones who influence the trustees throughout the year to do their will – Make Money!
Check out GSOwatch.org! To see how well the Trustees do not following the traditions, trying to make money (which is the agenda of the staff) and being “in charge” of carrying out the will of the conference. It’s sad.
