A friend recently told me a story about this old hippy that shows up to her meetings … and he has bedbugs.
In the past, the members got together, went over to this dude’s house and cleaned and cleared away the bedbugs.
Recently, he came back to the group with more bedbugs. The chair walks around to each person sitting close to him and tells them quietly that he has bedbugs, and they move.
Dude has 26 years of so-dry-ety… and has been approached about this problem – to which he retorts “It’s not that bad!”
I suggested maybe he goes outside with a few people from the meeting to hold a meeting just for him in the warm months?
The church has made it clear that the group could get kicked out if they find bedbugs…
What to do about a situation like this? It reminds me of our experience with the Pedo Priest…
